Bogajaya Stores returned to us in 2023 to design their fifth retail outlet at Juanda Surabaya’s T1 Terminal after our previous successful collaborations. Located next to the domestic arrival gate, the store had high visibility and foot traffic, making it a key project for the brand. The client requested an enclosed, air-conditioned layout to enhance comfort and differentiate this outlet from earlier designs. With such a prime location, the design needed to be both functional and visually striking. While maintaining consistency with previous stores, this unique site required some reimagined elements. We revisited earlier outlets to study their layouts, aesthetics, and customer flow, identifying opportunities for improvement. This led to upgrades such as enhanced lighting for a warm ambiance and redesigned display racks for better product interaction. These refinements ensured the store felt modern and inviting while staying true to Bogajaya’s identity.
